CAGD Explains Delay in Payment of Teachers' CPDA and DSA for November 2025
CAGD explains the delay in paying teachers’ CPDA and DSA allowances for November 2025, citing a technical hitch, and confirms payment will be made with December salaries.
The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has clarified the reason behind the non-payment of two key allowances for teachers, the Continuous Professional Development Allowance (CPDA) and the Digital Support Allowance (DSA), which were due in November 2025.
According to the Department, a technical hitch occurred during the final payroll run, making it impossible to process the scheduled allowance payments. To ensure that November salaries for all Government of Ghana workers were not delayed, CAGD paused the processing of the affected allowances.
The Department has assured teachers and all concerned workers that the issue is being resolved. Both CPDA and DSA will now be paid together with the December 2025 salaries on 18th December 2025.
CAGD expressed regret for the inconvenience this interruption has caused and extended appreciation to all affected workers for their patience and understanding.
