CAGD Confirms Delay in Two Allowance Payments for November; Assures Workers of Resolution
CAGD announces a delay in two November 2025 allowance payments and assures workers that all outstanding amounts will be paid with December salaries.

The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has announced a delay in the payment of two categories of allowances expected to be paid in November 2025. The Department explained that a technical issue during the final payroll run made it impossible to process the allowances on schedule.
To prevent any disruption to November 2025 salary payments for all Government of Ghana workers, the processing of the affected allowances was put on hold.
The CAGD has assured workers—especially those in the education sector—that the issue is being addressed. The outstanding allowances will now be paid together with the December 2025 salaries on 18th December 2025.
The Department expressed regret for the inconvenience and thanked all affected workers for their patience.
