Hello Fellow Authiclers,

There was a certain boy called Joe who lived with the parents in a certain village. It happened that, their village will be destroyed by a renowned rich man who bought the village for his personal project.
Grieved by the news, went to this rich man to strike a deal.

There was a car race around the corner and this rich man has been the one winning all the time. So Joe said to the man; If I win the race, you will leave my people alone to be where they are.
The rich man upon hearing this, jumped to the agreement knowing that Joe will not be able to win him.

The race started, and Joe seem to be helping and saving his fellow racers from this rich man who was crushing them with all kinds of means. It got to a point where all including other racers started cheering Joe up. Encouraging him to win the race.
The rich man did all he could to stop Joe from winning him yet he won.

Thus, winners are always winning even when they are losing.

Hello Fellow Authicles,

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE REMEMBERED?

About a hundred years ago, a man looked at the morning newspaper and to his surprise and horror, read his name in the obituary column. The newspapers had reported his death by mistake. His first response was shock. Am I here or there?

When he regained his composure, his next thought was to find out what people had said about him.
The obituary read, 'Dynamite King Dies' and that, 'He was the merchant of death'. This man was the inventor of dynamite and when he read the words 'merchant of death', he asked himself, "Is this how I am going to be remembered? "

He decided, this was not the way he wanted to be remembered. Hence, he started working towards peace. He, the Dynamite King, was Alfred Nobel and he is remembered today by the great Nobel Prizes.

This photograph was taken by Kevin Carter in Sudan in 1993. The image depicts a famine-stricken child, with a hooded vulture eyeing him from nearby. Shortly after the picture was snapped, Carter chased the vulture away.

The photograph first appeared on 26 March 1993 in the New York Times, and gathered worldwide attention.

The newspaper received numerous inquiries about the girl's fate. According to Carter, she regained enough strength to continue her journey after the vulture was driven away, but it remained uncertain if she reached the UN food center.

The picture went on to win the Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography award in 1994. Sadly, Carter took his own life four months after winning the prize.

In 2011, the child's father revealed the child was actually a boy, Kong Nyong, and had been taken care of by the UN food aid station. Nyong passed away in 2007 from ‘fevers’, according to his family.
