How Japanese have produced wood for 700 years, without cutting down trees.
Daisugi is an ancient Japanese forestry technique developed in the 14th century originally used by people living in the Kitayama region, because the territory was extremely poor in saplings.
They planted cedars pruned in a special way to produce shoots that eventually would become perfect, straight, knot-free lumbers.
The shoots are gently pruned by hand every two years leaving only the top boughs, allowing them to grow straight. Harvesting takes 20 years and old 'tree stock' can grow up to a hundred shoots at a time.

Originality is not something you can replicate.
It begins where the replication ends.
Wherever you drive, there will always be trees, rocks and debris on the road. Ignore all the distractions on your road to success. Focus on what’s on your path to success.
The more you aspire to be like an original thinker, creator, or artist, the less chance you have of ever becoming an original thinker, creator, or artist.
Trying to become your idols isn’t the answer either. They didn’t follow in the footsteps of their heroes. There was no Bill Gates for Bill Gates to emulate; he had to carve his own individual path to find his own ‘greatness’.

Hello Fellow Authicles,
Do you have a goal? if yes, what is the goal?
An ancient Indian sage was teaching his disciples the art of archery. He put a wooden bird as the target and asked his disciples to aim at the eye of the bird. The first disciple was asked to describe what he saw. He said, "I see the trees, the branches, the leaves, the sky, the bird and its eye."
The sage asked this disciple to wait. Then he asked the second disciple the same question and he replied, "I only see the eye of the bird."
The sage said, "Very good. Now shoot." The arrow went straight and hit the eye of the bird.
So long as you have your eyes on the goal, you don't see obstacles. Knowledge helps you to reach your destination provided you know what the destination is. And the destination is the GOAL you set.
Unless we focus, we cannot achieve our goal. It is hard to focus and concentrate, but it is a skill that can be learned.

Hello Fellow Authicles,
Have you ever heard the phrase "Fair-Weather Friend"?
Two men were traveling through the forest and came across a bear. One of them quickly climbed a tree but the other was unable to, so he lay on the ground and played dead. The bear sniffed around his ear and left. The fellow from the tree came down and asked him, "what did the bear tell you?" The man replied, "He said, don't trust a friend who deserts you in danger."
The message is as clear as daylight.
A fair-weather friend is like a banker who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining and takes it back the minute it rains.
Mutual trust and confidence are the foundation stone of all friendship.
Now do self assessment with these:
Are you a fair-weather friend? Are you around when there is harvest and disappear during the planting season?

Although the fig tree may not blossom, And there may be no fruit on the vines; Although the olive crop may fail, And the fields may produce no food; Although the flock may disappear from the pen, And there may be no cattle in the stalls;
*Yet, as for me, I will exult in Jehovah; I will be joyful in the God of my salvation.
